Texas Renaissance 2017

The Starship Enterprise spends the night at Renfest.  New touches for the Starship Checking out the neighbors in the reserved RV area.  Bob tried a scooter! The King & the Queen Another new wineglass to replace the leaky wooden one.  Had to walk A LOT to keep up with Bobby! A power outage ended the night early. A cold front moved in. Half an hour in line and one hour wait later...pizza! Sunday: Gina and Mike showed us the gypsy dancers.

Skeeters 2017!

Watching the Skeeters win, knowing that we didn't have a long drive home was wonderful! We stayed at the Highway 6 RV Resort on Schiller Rd.  The lake at the RV park.  Eating a late lunch while watching the Astros.  Just chillin' The view from the Inspirity boxes at Constellation Field.  Beer and gin & tonic. After all, we're not driving! Moundies. Bob won big! Swatson, terrifying little children everywhere! 🤣 Waiting for the Uber to take us "home."

Family Vacation at Splashway August 2017

What a fun trip with the Pelletiers and the Summerlins! Lazy river, slides, chilling (in blistering heat hottest day of the year) in our cabana, just loving the girls. It was fantastic!

Labor Day 2017 at Emerald Lake

After a horrible storm Harvey, just plain lucky to have no water in the house (we were ready to evacuate), we trucked off to Emerald Lake to recharge. We were one of 2 RVs there and a third showed up Sunday. I thought we'd be alone, the place to ourselves; but people started showing & we wound up with a great group, three volleyball games & fireworks. We watched a movie on our outdoor tv and made two new friends, Roger & Josh. Great weekend!

Another quiet night at the lake. Bucky is with us; Mopsy is gone. And we figured out how to use the cell phone to watch a movie!

Fourth of July 2017

We enjoyed a long weekend at Emerald Lake starting Friday afternoon, June 30, until Monday, July 3. New friends, Alvin & Gwen, Richard & Linda, Steve & Charlotte and Felix & Ernie. We're now members and enjoyed the benefits as well as a luau and great fireworks over the lake. Fantastic holiday!
